DREAM

Like many people I choose a word for the year. This year my word is DREAM. And it is not a word that has come easily to me either. I firmly believe that the word that comes to you is one that you need in your life for the year ahead. Past words for me have Forgiveness, Perserverance, Love. And they've all ended up being internally driven. Things I needed to do for myself.

And this year, with the word DREAM it's being driven by the fact that I'm in love with me. Through all the trauma and trials and ups and downs of life. Through the fear and scarcity and downright dislike of everything I was I am finally in love with me. Exactly the way I am. Regardless of what I've been through. Those things do not define me. They only make me stronger and wiser and braver.

So who am I?

An introvert.

A wife.

A mama to big and beautiful blended family.

A reader.

A friend.

An amazing listener.

A Grinch lover.

An organizational nerd.

An office supply addict.

A survivor.

I've only been able to choose this word because I finally have enough love, patience, and belief in myself to allow myself to DREAM. And my dream my loves is to help women learn to accept themselves exactly as they are. Because there is only one you. And there will never be another. I'd love to hear what makes you special.
